Handle with built-in lock — what it means and why it matters

Unlike a classic handle, the locking handle — also known as a Smart 2 Lock handle, privacy handle or WC handle — lets you secure the door from the inside without a key. A discreet movement engages the lock. The door stays secured against people outside, while emergency release remains possible.

On the Ehime handle the mechanism is integrated organically into the body of the product — invisible at rest, precise in use. No added elements, no breaks in the silhouette. Ideal for bedrooms, bathrooms and any space where privacy comes naturally, with no extra locks and no aesthetic compromises.

This solution — also called keyless door locking or privacy lock system — is the standard in premium residential projects in Western Europe and increasingly sought-after in Romania.

Material and finish

Available in high-resistance PVD finishes, including MSB. Integrated sub-roses of 2.5 mm for flawless mounting, with no visible gaps. Compatible with doors up to 50 mm thick.

The set includes everything needed: a pair of handles, an 8×8 mm spindle, through-bolts M4, Allen keys and an installation manual. Manufacturer's warranty: 24 months.
